Holidays in Bolesławiec.

Artistic word life

Lower Silesia is an exceptionally attractive holiday region of Poland. And Bolesławiec is a small, atmospheric, charming town. With a beautiful, well-maintained old market square, post-German architecture, phenomenal Poland's longest viaduct made of sandstone. A magical city located on the Bóbr River in the heart of the Lower Silesian Forest, which artists have fallen in love with. This is where the very famous and the lesser known Artistic Souls live and create.  Or maybe this city shapes its inhabitants?

We love art, including the culinary art.

At the same time, it is a dynamically developing city famous for Bolesławiec pottery. And thanks to its excellent geographical location, today it attracts companies located in economic zones. American soldiers are also stationed here.

The whole thing consists of what is important for a tourist. The number of several dozen gastronomic facilities, including several outstanding ones,   is certainly satisfactory.

Art that is created in Bolesławiec

Sculptor Jacek Opałá creates and lives in Bolesławiec and his works are already sold on two continents. Similarly to Glasstudio Borowski, which is less known in Poland than in Germany and the United States. But it is here in Bolesławiec that there is a climate for Artists.

Sport and Recreation

There are also numerous sports facilities offering swimming pools, saunas, tennis and squash courts. The surroundings of forests and the Bóbr and Kwisa rivers provide pretexts for activities in nature. There are also numerous companies offering rafting and canoeing, bicycle and horse riding attractions. For young people there is a new, huge skatepark and forest cross-country trails. The latter is useful to convince teenagers. A pswimming on the Bóbr River is an experience almost like the Amazon River. The variety of birds and plants in their completely natural, yet unspoilt surroundings is relaxing and enjoyable.

The trail of castles and palaces starts from Kliczków near Bolesławiec and leads to the valley of Jelenia Góra. At the end of the 19th century, this area gained the name "Silesian Elysium".
